How to play

Click a column to drop your disc into the lowest empty slot. You and the computer take turns. First to line up four of their colour — horizontally, vertically or diagonally — wins. If the grid fills with no winner, it is a draw.

Tips & strategy

The centre column is the strongest — every winning line on the board passes through the middle three columns. Always threaten two wins at once; the AI can only block one. Watch for "7" and "L" double-threat patterns.

Good for

  • A solid strategy game for two children to share.
  • Short enough for a lunchtime match.
  • Good first puzzle for learning look-ahead thinking.

Frequently asked questions

How strong is the AI?

Easy plays any legal move, Medium always blocks and takes wins, Hard uses an alpha-beta search several moves deep — it will punish most mistakes.

Who goes first?

You (red) always move first. In a future update we will add an alternating-starts toggle.
