How to play

In local mode, one player picks a category and word list item (or a random word), then draws on the canvas without saying the answer. The other player guesses. In online mode, the host creates an invite link: only the host sees the secret word; the guest watches the drawing appear in real time and types guesses. Wrong guesses are marked; correct guesses award a point. Host can start the next round.

Tips & strategy

Use simple outlines and icons rather than fine detail — mobile screens are small. Break the word into memorable shapes. Guessers should try short plural/singular variants if the first guess is wrong.

Frequently asked questions

Is the word hidden from the guesser online?

Yes. The server stores the answer only in the host’s secret slot; the guest’s browser never receives it until someone guesses correctly.

Do I need an account?

No. Invite links and browser storage remember your seat for about a week after the last move.
