How to play
You are X, the computer is O. Click any empty square on your turn. Get three of your marks in a line — horizontal, vertical or diagonal — to win. Choose Easy (random), Medium (blocks wins) or Unbeatable (full Minimax) from the menu.
Tips & strategy
Opening in a corner forces the AI into a single safe reply. The centre is the strongest cell. On Unbeatable the best you can do is draw — that is the mathematical truth of the game.
Good for
- Teaching children forks, blocks and draw-by-default logic.
- A fast 10-second game you can fit into anything.
- Measuring your brain against a provably perfect opponent.
Frequently asked questions
Can I beat the Unbeatable AI?
No. Noughts and crosses is a solved game — with perfect play both sides draw. The best you can do against Minimax is a tie.
Who moves first?
You (X) move first every round. Future updates may add "computer starts" mode.
